Missing Lincoln County Teen Found Safe In Forsyth County

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says a teen who ran away from home earlier this week has been safely located.

Lindsey Monteleone, 17, was reported missing on Sunday, September 15th, 2019, when she did not return home from her job at Papa John’s Pizza.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s detectives located  Monteleone in Lewisville, North Carolina, with assistance from the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office and the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday, September 18th, 2019, Monteleone’s parents picked her up from the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.

Lindsey Monteleone was reported missing Sunday night after she did not return to her Asbury Church Road home from work at Papa John’s Pizza in Denver, North Carolina.

Detectives say she was last seen wearing blue jeans and a Papa John’s work shirt.  Her vehicle was also left at the Papa John’s location in Denver.

Monteleone is described as being 5′ 7″ tall, weighs 120 lbs, has green eyes and blond hair with purple dye in it.  Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911 immediately.
