Man Charged With Series Of Charlotte-Area Commercial Break-Ins

CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says a series of commercial break-in cases have been cleared by arrest.

Larry Martin, 57, is charged with breaking into 11 businesses throughout the Charlotte-area. Police say five schools were among the buildings broken into.

Warrants were issued on Monday for Martin, and police say he was arrested the same day.

He is charged with eight counts of felony breaking or entering, six counts of larceny after breaking or entering, and two counts of injury to real property.
