GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A man has been charged with multiple sex crimes involving children in cases that occurred over 20 years ago in Gaston County.
Jose Armando Cena-Maritnez, 74, of Clover, South Carolina, is charged with three felony counts of Indecent Liberties with a Child.

The offenses occurred in 1998, when the victims ranged from ages 5 through 9. The Gaston County Police Department initiated an investigation in June 2019.
Cerna-Martinez was arrested at his residence in Clover on September 19th, 2019, and was extradited to North Carolina on September 24th, 2019.
