It’s The Final Week To ‘Fill The Frontier’ At Gastonia Nissan, Supporting Local School Children In Need

GASTONIA, NC — This is the final week of Gastonia Nissan’s 6th annual “Fill the Frontier” event supporting Gaston County Schools and the BackPack Weekend Food Program.

The event helps collect school supplies for local Gaston County kids in need, ensuring that they have a fresh start to the school year and are setup for success. In addition to your donations, Gastonia Nissan is matching every single item to help double the impact.

This year’s event is also helping to support the BackPack Weekend Food Program which provides a backpack of non-perishable, individually portioned, nutritionally balanced food for kids to take home each Friday. Through this program, the identified students can have food to eat over the weekend when school is not in session.

“Gastonia Nissan is a proud member of the Gaston County community. Food and education are basic essentials that no child should be without and it’s heart-warming to see the community come together to help local children inside and outside the classroom,” says Jeff Viner, Managing Partner of Gastonia Nissan.

Donations can be dropped off through the end of September at the dealership located at 2275 E. Franklin Boulevard in Gastonia.
