Are The Panthers Better Off With Kyle Allen?

Kyle Allen and the Carolina Panthers hope to continue their winning streak this weekend in London.
Carolina is getting ready to head across the pond and face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the second time this season.

The Panthers now have three wins in a row after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 27 to 34 inside Bank of America Stadium on Sunday.
Christian McCaffery gave another MVP-level performance, scoring three touchdowns.
The running back took a little pressure off backup quarterback Kyle Allen, who threw for one touchdown and had no interceptions but managed to fumble the ball on the first drive.
“He’s gotta understand that he doesn’t have to drop the ball in the first series. The fortunate thing is that it bounced back to him,” said head coach Ron Rivera, commenting on Allen’s ability to recover the ball.

“I thought he did some good things. He missed some opportunities and he knows it, that’s the best thing. But once he got a good feel from them, he operated pretty well,” Rivera added.

Meanwhile, starting quarterback Cam Newton wasn’t on the sidelines Sunday.
Newton is still recovering from a foot injury and hasn’t traveled with the team on the last few away games.
