Man And Woman Charged With Breaking Into Butler High School

MATTHEWS, NC — Matthews Police have charged two suspects accused of breaking into Butler High School over the weekend.

The break-in happened shortly after 4am on Sunday, October 6th at the school located on Matthews-Mint Hill Road. Police say Francisco Javier Hernandez-Gomez, 21, of Mooresville, and Romana Milardic, 20, of Matthews, set off the security alarm and were seen on video surveillance inside the school.

Arriving officers reportedly located the two suspects inside the auditorium.

Milardic and Gomez are each charged with Misdemeanor Breaking and/or Entering – School.
