Police Arrest 6 Teens Accused Of Conspiring To Rob Victims At Local Apartment Complex

CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD has charged six suspects they say conspired to rob victims at the Maple Run Apartments on Saturday, September 28th.

Vet Ksor, 19, Oscar Rebollar-Velasquez, 16, Andy Giron, 16, Erixon Garcia, 17, Elvis Ortiz, 17, and a 15-year-old male have each been charged for their involvement in the case.

According to investigators, the teens were seen wearing masks and carrying what witnesses believed to be firearms around 10:26pm near the apartment complex’s leasing office. The witnesses reportedly ran to a nearby neighbor’s apartment and called police.

Arriving officers and a CMPD K-9 unit located the suspects and were able to take two into custody. The other suspects fled on foot, police say, but were eventually located and arrested.

No firearms were found on the suspects.

Ksor, Velasquez, Giron, Garcia and Ortiz have each been charged with felony conspiracy to commit armed robbery and transferred into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office. The 15-year-old juvenile is also charged with felony conspiracy to commit armed robbery and was transferred into the custody of the Cabarrus Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
