Police Identify Motorcyclist Killed In Salisbury Accident

SALISBURY, NC — Salisbury Police have identified the motorcyclist killed in an accident late Sunday afternoon.

James Burris, 54, was killed around 5:42pm after authorities say he was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on Jake Alexander Boulevard near Woodleaf Bowling Lanes.

Burris was riding a motorcycle, police say, and pronounced dead at the scene. Four other vehicles were involved in the accident.

Police say two adults and a child were transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center, but their conditions are unknown at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
