Fatalities Reported After Amtrak Train Collides With Vehicle In Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, N.C. — Two people have been killed after an Amtrak train collided with a vehicle in Harrisburg.  The incident happened Monday afternoon on Saddle Creek Court.  Officials say the train was headed to Raleigh.

Harrisburg Fire says 45 people were onboard the train when the accident happened.  However, no one on the train was injured.

The road is closed at this time.  Expect delays in the area.
