Two Men And A Truck Holds First ‘Movers For Mutts’ Collection Drive Benefiting Halfway There Rescue

CHARLOTTE, NC — This fall, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK Charlotte ran its first annual Movers for Mutts® campaign, a collection drive created to provide essential pet-care items to a local animal foster group, Halfway There Rescue. The Charlotte moving company worked with Morningstar Storage, Triple C Brewing Company, and NoDa Brewing Company to collect a pallet of donations that was delivered to the animal foster group.

Halfway There Rescue’s mission is to rescue, foster, transport, and find homes for unwanted, abandoned, and abused dogs in the Carolinas. Their goal is to pull at-risk pets from overcrowded shelters in North and South Carolina, place them in temporary foster homes and ultimately find them permanent, loving homes. Halfway There Rescue also offers a community outreach program that provides free veterinary care, including spay/neuter, for those who cannot afford services for their pets. The animal foster group is always seeking volunteers to serve as foster families and to help transport animals when needed.

“Halfway There Rescue wants to thank everyone who participated in Movers for Mutts,” said Sarah Levans, the founder of Halfway There Rescue. “100 percent of your donations will go directly towards saving dogs and cats in our local kill shelters. We are very grateful for your support!”
