Actor’s Theatre Of Charlotte’s THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL Opens December 3rd

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (News Release) – Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte presents its upcoming holiday show THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL by Betsy Kelso and David Nehls, playing December 3rd through December 22nd at the Hadley Theater at Queen’s University.

THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL is presented by ATC each season and is sure to put the Queen City in the holiday spirit. Other shows taking place throughout the Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte’s 31st season include “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill,” “Cost of Living,” “One Man, Two Guvnors,” and “Head over Heels.”

THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL tells the story of the lovable, zany residents of the Armadillo Acres trailer park in Stark, Florida. While preparing to decorate for a holiday contest, a new Scrooge-like resident begins to wreak havoc on the festivities. With songs like “My Christmas Tin Toy Boy” and “Christmas in My Mobile Home,” get ready for cat-fighting, drinking, chair-throwing and more, guaranteed to be a good time that’ll even make grandma blush.

“If this show sounds familiar, it’s because we perform it every season. It’s our holiday treat to all of you!” said Director Chip Decker. “This show isn’t your traditional holiday musical, though. Settle in for the rowdiest show of the season that guarantees to put you in the spirit. Warning: this show contains silly obscenities, NASCAR references and an uncensored good time.”

All performances of THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL are held at Queens University’s Hadley Theater (2132 Radcliffe Avenue). The Pay What You Can performance is December 3 at 7:30 p.m. Opening night will be December 4 at 7:30 p.m. and the show will run through December 22. Ticket prices range from $30 to $50.
