Local Coffee Shop, Haerfest Coffee, Offers Jobs To People With Disabilities

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Here is something you can’t find just anywhere!  A Charlotte coffee shop is putting a twist to the typical coffee drinking experience.

Haerfest Coffee in west Charlotte offers jobs to people with disabilities and makes it easier for them to order coffee too.

Here is how it works:

  • They have noise buttons to press that play music to match the sound of the flavor of coffee they are wanting.
  • They have fabrics that describe the feel of the flavors.
  • The artwork describes what flavor is in the package.
  • They also have lights, that match the sound of the coffee they are roasting.
