Charlotte Fire Says 88-Year-Old Woman With Dementia Found Safe

The Charlotte Fire Department says Geneva Nance was found on November 11th and transferred to the Mecklenburg County EMS for evaluation.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The CMPD is asking for assistance locating an 88-year-old woman who may be suffering from a cognitive issue.
Authorities say Geneva Nance was last seen in the area of Victoria Avenue near the intersection of Skycrest Drive in north Charlotte on Sunday, November 10th at 9 p.m.
Nance is described as a black female, five feet five inches tall, who weighs about 100 pounds and has dark hair. Police say she has dementia, carries a stick when walking, and is possibly wearing multiple coats.
Anyone who comes in contact with Nance should call 911 immediately.
