Cold Stretch and the Return of Rain

Another chilly day on tap, with more clouds than sun. Highs will once again only reach the low 40s. A disturbance out of the gulf will fire up the rain chances beginning tonight. Temps will not fall below freezing, so this will be a straight rain event as showers will likely continue into the first half of the day on Friday. Below average temps continue into the weekend, but dry weather will also return to the forecast. Highs will reach the upper 40s to lower 50s. Rain chances return early next week along with seasonable highs in the low 60s.
