Sunny, Warmer Days Ahead
Temperatures will rise 5-10° above normal by midweek.
After a soggy Saturday, we have dried out nicely for the second half of the weekend. The sunny trend will look to continue into the workweek, as a warm and stable airmass sets up shop across much of the Southeast. Temperatures will remain right around average for now, but we could warm up into the upper 60s as soon as midweek. Regardless of how warm we end up, abundant sunshine should persist for the next several days. Looking ahead, a rainmaking system is expected to develop over the Central Plains before sweeping through later on Wednesday, but all signs are pointing towards a cooler, drier Thanksgiving holiday.
