Got Game: Panthers Drop Heartbreaker To Saints

NEW ORLEANS, LA (AP) — Carolina Panthers rookie kicker Joey Slye blamed himself for his team’s loss to the New Orleans. Slye missed a 28-yard field-goal attempt that would have put Carolina ahead with 2 minutes to play. He also botched two extra points, and Carolina failed on a 2-point conversion try when they tried to make up for Slye’s first missed point-after. The Panthers fell to 5-6 with a slim chance of making the playoffs.
