Thanksgiving Day Parade

A spectacle of sight and sound, the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade is a Charlotte tradition with six decades of history behind it, growing to its impressive reputation as the fourth largest of its kind in the country and the biggest in the Southeast. In 2018, the event drew 110,000 live spectators and 1.5 million household viewers via broadcast. People were watching online all over the world from Washington to Mexico to Sweden! Don’t miss this year’s event on November 28. There’s no spectacle to compare with the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade in Charlotte, NC!

Kick off the holiday shopping season in South End on Small Business Saturday, November 30, 2019, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm followed by the Tree Lighting at Atherton Mill at sundown. Explore local shops, restaurants and breweries and find holiday gifts at the best holiday shopping market in the region. South End Small Business Saturday is presented by Novel Atherton. 150 local shops, 70 places to eat and drink, and free trolley rides throughout the district.
