CA Lawmaker Wants To Criminalize Sending Unwanted Lewd Photos

A Republican lawmaker in California will present a bill next month that could make it a crime to send an unsolicited picture of your private area.

The bill has the support of dating app, Bumble.

The lawmaker says they want “Cyber Flashers” to face a punishment on par with a speeding ticket. They say it’s a reminder that consent is consent and exposing yourself without consent is an act of harassment.
