CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ever thought about picking up and moving to Kansas? You might after this. The state’s capital, Topeka, is offering potential new residents up to $15,000 to move there. A new program called “Choose Topeka” is partnering with employers to match what they put up for new employees to live and work there for a year. The program will pay up to $10k to people who rent in the city, and up to $15k if you buy a home.
