Concord Police Need Help Identifying Carjacking Suspects

CONCORD, N.C. — Concord Police need help identifying four suspects involved in a carjacking that happened in the parking lot of a Lidl grocery store.

On February 4th, a woman called 911 to report a carjacking that just happened at Lidl on Christenbury Parkway.  The victim said a woman, who had a gun, got into the passenger side of her car, right after she got into the parking lot, told her to leave the keys in the ignition, and then told her to get out of the car.

Once the victim got out of the car, another suspect got into the driver’s seat and drove out of the parking lot, according to a news release.  A short time later, police say the vehicle stopped at the QT convenience store on the corner of Derita Road and Christenbury Parkway where two additional people got into the car.

Anyone with information on this carjacking is asked to call the Concord Police Department at 704-920-5000 or Cabarrus Area Crime Stoppers at 704-93-CRIME.
