Multiple Juveniles Detained Following Reports Of Fight At Harding High School

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say Harding High School was put on lockdown Tuesday, following reports of a fight on campus.

According to the CMPD, officers responded to the Harding High School located on Alleghany Street in west Charlotte, between Freedom Drive and Wilkinson Boulevard, and detained multiple juvenile suspects.

The lockdown was lifted at 12:20 p.m., according to the CMPD.

Police say they are not looking for any other subjects at this time, and no charges will be filed until an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is complete.
