Decision 2020: Is Seat Reclining Or Seat Tapping Worse?
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A viral video is sparking yet another debate. An American Airlines passenger by the name of Wendi Williams posted a video to Twitter. It shows her, reclined in her seat, and the man behind her, repeatedly tapping the seat. Wendi says that before she started recording, the man asked her if she could sit upright while he ate, then when he was done, she reclined and he started tapping the seat.
Wendi tells TMZ that she also got the flight attendant’s attention and the attendant told her to delete the video. Now Wendi is demanding answers. She says, ‘I wanna know who he is. I would like to press charges against this man because I was assaulted on that plane and American Airlines. I would like the flight attendant fired.”
Naturally, the internet is divided over the issue. Some of the takes:
“Men like this are becoming more common. Betas, that are happy to bully a woman, but would run away from confronting another man.”
“I wouldn’t recline and I don’t like people who do it to me. No sympathy.”
“Why are we not blaming the cause of this? Yes, they’re both jerks, but not right at the same time. Airlines keep packing us in tighter and tighter…no one should have to fly in discomfort in 2020.”
Oour question of the night: recline or not to recline?
