Beautiful Finish to Holiday Weekend

We'll have another wet start to the shortened workweek.

After a chilly start to the holiday weekend, the clouds and showers clear out for our Presidents’ Day as temperatures return to the upper 50s and lower 60s. Fog may be a problem on the morning of Washington’s Birthday, but partly-to-mostly sunny skies should prevail by the afternoon hours. Enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, because rain returns to the forecast as we start out the shortened workweek. A series of rainmaking systems move through the Carolinas for the week ahead, propping up shower chances through early Friday.

Presidents’ Day: AM fog. PM clearing. High: 60°. Wind: E 5-10.

Monday Night: Clouds return. Spotty showers late. Low: 49°. Wind: SE 5-10.

Tuesday: Scattered showers. High: 64°. Wind: S 5-10.
