Two Teens Shot On Clinton College Campus In Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Two people are recovering after a shooting on Clinton College’s campus in Rock Hill early Sunday morning, multiple reports say.

The shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. during a birthday party that was being held in the college’s gymnasium which is located on Crawford Road. According to Clinton College the gym was being rented out for the event.

When officers arrived to the scene they found an 18-year-old man who had been shot. A 17-year-old victim was found shortly after at Piedmont Medical Center with a gunshot wound from the incident.

Both victims are expected to be okay, according to reports.

Clinton College released a statement on they social media account that stated – no student, faculty or staff were hurt in the incident.

School officials said that the two victims were students and that the college will be working with the Rock Hill Police Department as they investigate.
