Showers Return, Soggy Days Ahead
After reaching the mid-60s yesterday, temps will once again reach above-average highs in the low 60s ahead of the next disturbance. Rain and showers will begin from west to east across the area today. Showers will remain light, although an isolated rumble of thunder will be possible. More rain for the week as soggy conditions stretch into Wednesday. Highs tomorrow will reach the low 50s. There will be a brief break in the rain Wednesday night into Thursday, but showers will return during the afternoon with temps in the upper 40s. Overnight lows on Thursday will fall into the upper 20s – making a brief changeover to snow possible, especially for folks north if I-85. This could change depending on the setup of the colder air, so it will be something to watch later in the week. Temps will rebound into the 50s by the weekend.
