Rain Returns to Start Workweek
It looks like the heaviest rain will move in overnight Monday into Tuesday.
We hope you enjoyed the beautiful weekend, because things won’t be so pleasant as we head into the workweek. Expect clouds to begin rolling in this evening as lows stall out in the upper 30s and lower 40s around the Charlotte area. Mid-to-lower 30s can be expected in the High Country tonight. As we get ready for the morning commute tomorrow, a few widely scattered showers can be expected across the WCCB Charlotte viewing area. A few flakes or a light wintry mix is certainly possible for higher elevations across the western Carolinas. The main event for rain appears to move in late Monday into Tuesday, where rain, heavy at times, will sweep in from the south and west. While none of the next three days look like total washes, most neighborhoods will likely see somewhere between a half-inch and an inch-and-a-half through Wednesday afternoon.
