NC Deputies Searching For Suspect Of Triple Murder Investigation

BLADEN COUNTY, N.C. — North Carolina deputies are searching for a suspect that is connected to a triple murder in Bladen County.

According to authorities, Bladen County received a call about the shooting that happened at a house on Tina Lane in Clarkton on Sunday around 1:30 a.m.

Deputies were informed that a man entered a home and shot several people and left the scene.

Bladen County deputies as well as EMS responded to the scene and found that three people had been shot and killed and a forth person survived, a news release stated.

Officials identified the victims as 30-year-old Catrice Murchison, 27-year-old Ronnie Kelly and 60-year-old Guy Barden, Jr.  The survivor has been identified as 69-year-old Hazel Epps.

Through an investigation the suspect has been identified as 36-year-old Taurean Johnson. Warrants have been obtained for three counts of murder and one count of attempted murder for Johnson, officials say.
