Instagram Model Admits Her Bali Pictures Were Actually Taken Inside An Ikea Store

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Breaking news: not everything you see on the internet is as it seems. And one social media influencer by the name of Natalia Taylor is doing her part to prove it. Taylor recently came clean on her YouTube channel. She admitted that pictures she posted to her Instagram with the geo-tag Bali, Indonesia, were actually taken inside an Ikea in California.

She says it’s an experiment to see if her followers could point to the lie. She says, ‘Here’s the game plan. I got dressed up in hair, make-up, wardrobe, everything, and called over my trusted photographer Ally Amodeo. We’re going to go into Ikea together and see how many pictures we can take in the little furniture areas before we kicked out or before it gets too awkward for our own good.”

Taylor says she got away with the stunt while in the store, but her followers started to catch on and called her out on social media. She says, all-in-all, the experiment was a “success” and reminds people to not believe everything you see online.

That brings us to our question of the night: since Taylor lied while she was on the job, have you ever lied on the job?
