Several South Charlotte Apartments Damaged In Fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several apartments were damaged in a two-alarm fire in south Charlotte.  The fire broke out around 3pm at the Highland Apartments on Archdale Drive near Interstate 77.

The Charlotte Fire Department says no injuries were reported and the cause remains under investigation.  It took more than 50 firefighters to get the blaze under control in just under an hour, according to CFD.
