How Do You Handle Sending A Text To The Wrong Person?

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – We’ve all been there: you send the wrong text to the wrong person and either have to ignore it and act like it didn’t happen, or you have to backtrack.

Actor Dax Shepard found himself in a that exact situation after sending his mother-in-law a pretty risque message. His wife Kristen Bell talked about it on Ellen, which airs right here on WCCB TV. Bell says, “She was coming in town and sends him a text like, ‘Be there by 11,’ and then sends something else that says, ‘Can’t wait to see you tonight.’ And he meant to respond, ‘smiley face, smiley face, smiley face,’ and instead he responds ‘eggplant, eggplant, eggplant.’ And when he did it, he gasped and said, ‘I made a huge mistake!’”

Bell adds that fortunately her mom doesn’t know what an eggplant emoji means in the world of sexting.
