Pete Davidson Makes A Joke About Gay Men: Should He Apologize?
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Here’s the deal: Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson back in the spotlight. The 26-year-old is no stranger to scrutiny and criticism. This time, it’s about a joke he made about about gay men in his new Netflix special called Pete Davidson: Alive From New York.
The joke seemed to fall flat with some audiences. Davidson says, “It’s that gay dude, that will like run up on your girlfriend and like squeeze her boobs and slap her a** and be like damn girl you look great. I don’t find that f***ing funny like at all. Like, I’m all for the gayness, doesn’t mean I’m against gayness. It’s like, you get to slap a** on a technicality? That’s not f***ing fair at all.”
Twitter users, weighing in, of course, saying:
“He has a point.”
“The worst thing about Pete Davidson’s comedy, is the lack of humor.”
“Wow, Pete Davidson thinks gay jokes are okay.”
Our question of the night: does Pete have anything to apologize about?
