CHARLOTTE, N.C. — President Donald Trump will be hosting a rally in Charlotte, N.C. on Monday and there is expected to be an increase in traffic around the city as well as multiple road closures.
The following roadways will be completely closed and inaccessible between 4-9 p.m., according to CMPD:
- Roadways between and around the Charlotte Douglas International Airport and Bojangles Arena
- Independence Boulevard between I-277 and Albemarle Road
Commuters can expect significant delays due to the closures and are suggested to take a different route during those times to avoid long travel times.
