Supermodel Ashley Graham Changes Baby’s Blow-Out Diaper In Store Aisle, Wendy Williams Mom-Shames Her
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wendy Williams is no stranger to controversy and now is no different. The talk show host is under fire, again, for mom-shaming supermodel Ashley Graham’s decision to change her 7-week-old son, in the middle of a Staples store.
Graham posted a picture of herself changing baby Isaac to Instagram with the caption, “First diaper blow-up while running errands with no restroom in sight. Thank God I remembered to put the changing mat in the diaper bag!”
While many of the supermodel’s followers thought it was endearing and showed support, talk show host Wendy Williams voiced her disapproval during her show, saying, “I would’ve went up to the department and said, ‘close down both sides of this aisle and let us get this together,’ and I would have walked her to the car, ’cause I’m compassionate. That’s the kind of person I am. But what I don’t want to see is a rich lady doing this, and you all thinking it’s cool. That’s not hot. Nope. Nope. Nope.”
This topic is receiving mixed reviews online. Some agreed with Wendy, saying: “That’s just nasty for two reasons. One, young infant on tiny pad on the unsanitary floor of a store. Two, fecal matter in a public space.” And others came to Ashley’s defense saying, “I am the mom of a seven-month-old and if she has a blowout in a public place, with no changing table, I’m doing the same thing.”
Our question of the night: are you Team Wendy or Team Ashley?
