At Least 4 Killed In China Hotel Collapse

EASTERN CHINA —  At least four people were killed following the collapse of a hotel used as a coronavirus quarantine facility in Eastern China.  Rescuers also rescued 38 survivors, including an infant, from the rubble, with five in critical or serious condition.  71 people were initially trapped according to the Ministry of Emergency Management.

The coastal city of Quanzhou recorded 47 cases of the COVID-19 infection and the hotel had been repurposed to house people who had been in recent contact with confirmed patients.

China confirmed more than 80-thousand cases of the virus.
