Springing Into Warmer Temperatures

The warmest air we've seen all year has settled in today.

As much of the western Carolinas sits on the warm end of a stationary front, we just reached the mid-70s for the first time in 2020 this Wednesday. Even warmer temperatures may come into play as we close out the week. Expect 70s in the Piedmont and 60s in the High Country with isolated showers and storms to continue through Friday afternoon, before a rainmaking system moves through and cools us down. The weekend is trending chillier and wetter, as highs crashing back down into the 50s for Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday: Partly cloudy. Isolated storms possible. High: 76°. Wind: S 5-15.

Thursday Night: Cloudy. Isolated storms possible. Low: 64°. Wind: SW 5-15.

Friday: AM showers and storms. PM mostly cloudy. High: 74°. Wind: W 5-15.
