The Bachelor’s Mom Makes Bombshell Statement About The Woman He Chose: “It’s Not Gonna Work”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The interwebs are ablaze after The Bachelor finale, and before you say “I don’t watch that,” trust us, you don’t have to have seen a lick of it to have an opinion on what happened.

The backstory: after weeks of searching for love and serial dating, pilot Peter Weber ended the series engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss, whom his mother adored! But even a mother’s love couldn’t keep the couple together, and they wound up un-engaged after a month. During the season finale, Peter revealed he ended his relationship with Hannah Ann because he was still in love with another contestant on the show, Madison. Madison then admitted she felt the same, and the two said they were going to try again.

If those plot twists aren’t enough for you, it’s Peter’s mother, Barbara, in the spotlight now, for voicing her opinion of her son’s relationship with Madison. She told a live TV audience about her son, “He’s gonna have to fail to succeed. That’s it. Because all his friends, all his family, everyone that knows him, knows that it’s not. You know? It’s not gonna work. So we’ve been trying to help him. Would we want it to work? Yes.”

Social media weighed in:
“OMG this toxic lady, I can’t.”
“Peter and Madison won’t work, her timing is off, but she’s right.”

So, whether or not you agree with Barbara, our question of the night: do you want your parent’s relationship advice?
