Piedmont Medical Center Announces Visitor Restrictions Amid Coronavirus Concerns

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Out of an abundance of caution, Piedmont Medical Center is expanding their visitation restrictions until further notice. Visitation is restricted to the following guidelines:

  • Visitation is limited to one visitor per patient.
  • No visits from people with fever or symptoms of lower respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of breath.
  • No visits from children under the age of 13.
  • No visits to any patient that is a PUI (Person Under Investigation) or has a confirmed case of COVID-19.

These measures will be in effect until the hospital is advised by the CDC or the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control that it is safe to return to normal visiting practices. Related updates are posted to their website: https://www.piedmontmedicalcenter.com/
