Soggy Start to St. Patrick’s Day

Showers and pockets of heavy rain through the next few hours. Most of the heavier rain will be through before the morning drive. Cloudy and warmer today with highs reaching the mid-60s. Temps will continue to warm with a brief chance for a rumble of thunder late Wednesday as temps reach the upper 60s. Highs will reach the upper 70s for the first day of spring with showers possible through the afternoon. Our first 80-degree day of the season will be on Friday. A few storms will be possible Friday afternoon, but a cold front will likely bring more heavy rain Friday night into Saturday. Cooler to end the weekend with highs falling to the mid-50s by Sunday.
