Would You Let An App Track Your Coronavirus Status?
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – As countries around the world fight to get ahead of the coronavirus, Germany hopes to launch an app in the coming weeks to track the spread of the virus. It will use digital surveillance and individual smartphone location data to record who a person comes in contact with. If the owner of the phone tests positive, it would instantly contact the people who recently came in contact with the infected person.
