ALBEMARLE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death behind an Albemarle residence on Friday.
According to the Albemarle Police Department, on Friday, April 3rd, 2020, officers with the Albemarle Police Department responded to reports of shots fired the areaย of Arey Avenue near Lundix Street.
Shortly thereafter, officers located 27-year-old Sylvester Maskeย behind a residence on Arey Avenue. EMS arrived on the scene but Maske died a short time later.
The State Bureau of Investigation also respondedย to the scene to aid in the investigation. ย Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
