Local Church Donates Food for COVID-19 Relief

CHARLOTTE, NC — A church in east Charlotte is helping people in need during the pandemic by handing out truckloads of food.

Members of Faith Soldiers Word Ministries boxed up the food, then set up a drive-through food pantry Monday in the church parking lot on Eastway Drive.

Second Harvest Food Bank donated the food.

An associate pastor of the church says it’s one of their main missions.
