CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As construction continues on the Charlotte Convention Center, service to the LYNX Blue Line in Uptown will be impacted from August 29th to August 30th, according to a news release.
Transit officials say the will be no LYNX Blue Line service from Carson Station to 7th Street Station.
CATS says they will create a “LYNX Connector” by providing a bus-bridge from the two stations.
The LYNX Connector bus will operate on the same modified schedule as the LYNX Blue Line, but riders should be prepared for delays, according to a news release.
Transit officials say the bus-bridge will be in use starting August 29th until the end of August 30th with normal service resuming Monday morning, August 31st.
Regular local fare will be required, and can be used to transfer with the bus system, according to a news release.
