POLITICAL WRAP: President Trump Denies Accusations in Article; COVID Concerns over Labor Day Weekend

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – President Trump is defending himself after a report in the Atlantic magazine claiming he disparaged U.S. service members killed in battle and chose to skip a visit to a cemetery in France.

“It was a totally fake story. And that was confirmed by many people who were actually there. Uh, it was a terrible thing that somebody could say the kind of things and especially to me because I’ve done more for the military than almost anybody else,” the President said.
