Clouds Continue, Rain Remains
Temperatures will end up slightly below average through the weekend ahead.
The weather may have been nice this holiday weekend, but things look much murkier for the near future. A coastal rainmaking system continues to develop just off of the Carolina coast Thursday evening, which will bring widespread rain chances through the weekend. With the increased cloud coverage coming along with this system, we can expect temperatures to top out slightly below average over the next several days in the 70s and 80s across the WCCB Charlotte viewing area. While no single day should be a wash through Sunday, most communities can expect .5-1.5″ through the weekend.
