Candyman Delayed Until 2021; Writer Wants to Avoid On Demand Release

With no end in site to the coronavirus pandemic, movie studios continue to push back film releases.
 
The latest movie moving to 2021 is the horror film Candyman.
 
Nia DaCosta, who co-wrote the film with Jordan Peele took to twitter to explain why the movie is being delayed.

 

A number of films such as Mulan and Bill & Ted Face the Music have skipped the theater and have taken the video on demand route.
