Hurricane Sally takes aim at the northern Gulf Coast before tracking toward the Carolinas.
In wake of a cold front stunning conditions build in on Tuesday. Expect high temperatures to top out in the upper 70s. Enjoy the dry air though because it will be brief as rain chances increase by late Wednesday.
By the second half of the week, remnants of Hurricane Sally will creep into the Carolinas which will bring increasing humidity and rain chances for Thursday and Friday ahead of our next cold front. The second cold front of the week is expected to roll through late week/early weekend. This front will bring much cooler air for the weekend!
