Sunny Tuesday – Latest on Hurricane Sally

If you have anything to get done outside, today would be the day to do it. Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80 under mostly sunny skies. Hurricane Sally is moving at a snail’s pace – which means its a little more difficult to pinpoint exact landfall – however, it is more likely to move inland closer to the MS/AL border. Heavy rain 10-20″ with significant storm surge will cause major flooding for the coast – and for inland areas. A series of cold fronts and the remnants of Sally will bring 2-4″+ of rainfall through late Friday to the WCCB viewing area. The heaviest rain will move into the region late Thursday into Friday. This weekend will bring the return of cool, fall feels.
