CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Lay’s officials say they choose Pollyanna Neely from Concord, North Carolina as one of thirty winners to be featured on Lay’s potato chip bags for her good deeds in the community.
Pollyanna says she believes knowledge is power and through her organization Active Veterans With Answers, she helps fellow veterans to become more educated and to access benefits they have rightfully earned.
Pollyanna was active in the military for 25 years and has spent 20 years in the event planning industry, bringing mentoring and managerial experience to her organization as Co-Founder and Chair of the Board, according to her website.
Pollyanna says she worked as a Navy Career Counselor, as a Board of Director Member for Association of United States Navy (AUSN), American Legion Auxiliary and American Legion Assistant Adjutant General Post 73, Franklin Virginia, and is a current volunteer at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina.
