Healthy Headlines: Childhood Cancer Awareness
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Cancer kills more children in the United States than any other disease. But, because of improved therapies, more than 80 percent of childhood cancer patients become long-term survivors. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and Dr. Jessica Bell of the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic at Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital is here to discuss treating young patients.
