KASHIYAMA Prepares For The Upcoming Wedding Season And New Charlotte Location

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Japanese made-to-measure suit brand KASHIYAMA is preparing for the upcoming wedding season by providing many options and quick turnarounds for customers searching to find their perfect look.

John Azar, KASHIYAMA’s Marketing Manager, says, “The made-to-measure brand offers shirts, suits and tuxedos— so no matter the formality of the wedding, there’s something for all grooms and groomsmen to be stylish, coordinated and comfortable.”

Azar says KASHIYAMA has seen an increase in wedding clients now that events are being allowed with restrictions in place.

Azar says there are now over 800 fabric choices for their suits, including newly launched fall fabrics, and over 100 fabric choices for shirts.

“For individual orders, shirts and suits are ready in as few as 10 days, and tuxedos in as few as 14 days. For groups, custom orders are shipped out in approximately 2-3 weeks,” says Azar. “Suit pricing starts at $300, tuxedos at $600, and shirts at $100, and there are multiple fabric levels to select from, as well as dozens of customization options. Both delivery and alterations are free.”

KASHIYAMA has even created a collection of fabrics for groomsmen group orders, and added additional suit fabrics in the most popular wedding colors such as light grey, grey sharkskin, nautical blue, and bright blue, according to a news release.

Azar says KASHIYAMA is also proud to announce the relocation of their Charlotte showroom to a ground-level suite of the Sharon Square shopping area in SouthPark.

KASHIYAMA opened its first Charlotte location last year in a small co-working space at WeWork Uptown, according to a news release.

“KASHIYAMA had a successful first year in Charlotte, so we’re excited to see the evolution of the brand through our new location in SouthPark,” says BJ McCahill, KASHIYAMA’s U.S. vice president. “We’re following all COVID-related health and sanitization guidelines in our showroom, including resting and steaming all garments between try-ons, and look forward to introducing clients to our new space.”

Azar says the clothing company released their newest product line of custom shirts that will provide customers with over 100 options of fabrics and three different fabric levels depending on your budget (all 100 percent cotton).

“We’re pleased to launch our made-to-order shirts and expand the KASHIYAMA line with additional pieces,” says McCahill. “The custom style options allow men with different fashion preferences to design the best-fitting shirt for work, special occasions or everyday wear.”

The new shirt line will offer customization options including 11 collars, five cuffs, four backs, three monogram styles, three plackets, and three buttons to choose from, according to a news release.

Azar says KASHIYAMA launched a new 3D builder tool on its website for shoppers who prefer to design their suit online before buying.

“We created the 3D builder for those customers who love seeing a visual representation of their suit design selections before they make a purchase,” says Azar. “It’s a fun way to design your custom suit and conceptualize what it’ll look like before you even come in to a showroom for a fitting.”
